Choral Scholarships for Young Singers

The Melbourne Bach Choir is offering eight scholarships for 2016 to students aged 17-29.  Funded by a generous grant from the Ian Potter Foundation, the scholarships are valued at $1500 each.   Scholars will rehearse and perform in the choir’s two major concerts for the year – Bach’s St Matthew Passion in the Melbourne Recital Centre on Good Friday and Elgar’s The Kingdom on 18 September in the Melbourne Town Hall.  Scholars will be selected at a workshop/audition to be held on Saturday 30 January 2016.
