Join conductor Christopher van Tuinen, WA Brass and UWA Choral Society in one of the most loved choral works of the 20th century. Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana is an exuberant celebration of the power of music, with rhythmic vivacity and raw energy found in the fusion of traditional, jazz and modern compositional techniques.

The text is a collection of songs about wine, women and love - based on poems in Latin and German from a thirteenth-century manuscript found in the Benedictine monastery of Beuren.

Featuring well-known Perth soloists Katja Webb, Matt Reuben James Ward, and Kristin Bowtell, enjoy powerfully expressive brass in this collaboration between the UWA Choral Society and WA’s premiere brass ensemble.

Carmina Burana is sensual, passionate and unforgettable.
