CHIME Choir Remembers: A Musical Reflection on ANZAC Day

Let us pause this ANZAC Day to listen to the words and music that honour the spirit and sacrifice of men and women in times of war. Emotions are aroused - anger, sadness, fear, hope, even joy - to echo around the walls of the magnificent Town Hall in South Melbourne.

Our thoughtfully curated program features the haunting 'Benedictus' and 'For the Fallen' by Karl Jenkins, the charming 'Soldier Boy' by John Rutter, a traditional brass arrangement of 'Amazing Grace', and many other beautiful works.

We acknowledge the bonds, forged in war, that we share with our sisters and brothers across the Tasman Sea, welcoming the Hamilton Civic Choir from New Zealand for their premiere performances in Melbourne. Also joining us is the brilliant  Boroondara Brass Ensemble.
You will leave this concert feeling truly uplifted.
