Celebrate the Christmas festivities for all the family. The choir welcomes the Christmas season with Benjamin Britten’s popular Ceremony of Carols, a collection of Christmas carols originally composed for treble voices in three parts. The choir will perform Julius Harrison’s arrangement for mixed voices.
Continuing the Christmas theme the concerts will also include JS Bach’s arrangement of Ein Kind geborn zu Bethlehem, Philip Ledger’s arrangement of the Sussex Carrol, On Christmas night all Christians sing, Howard Skempton’s Adam lay ybounden and What Child is This? by Thomas Hewitt Jones.
Of course there wouldn’t be a Corinthian’s Christmas concert without carols for audience participation and this year is no exception so bring your voices and good cheer and celebrate the Christmas season with the Corinthian Singers.
