Make this year your brightest yet! Come and sing with The Gospel Folk in Canberra. We are actively recruiting new members!
We’re a non-auditioned choir of men and women, based in Canberra. We’re a very friendly group of singers who have fun at practices, social events and performances. We sing a varied repertoire of gospel, folk, African and other songs, usually in four-part harmony: soprano, alto, tenor, bass.
Interested in singing with us? Come along to a no-obligation rehearsal! You’ll be warmly welcomed and one of our friendly members will show you the ropes. You don’t need previous singing experience or the ability to read music (although, of course, those do help) and you don’t need to know what ‘part’ you sing.
Where: St Peter’s Church Hall, 1 Watling Place, Weston (opposite Cooleman Court, on-site parking).
When: Wednesday nights from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. We generally follow school terms, with longer breaks over the Summer and Winter holidays.
