This year’s lively May program features the popular Misa Criolla by the Argentine composer Ariel Ramírez that combines the Spanish language with Argentine and Latin dance rhythms. The mass is contrasted with Schubert’s triumphant Mirjams Siegesgesang (Song of Victory), a choral ballad on Israel’s Exodus from Egypt, accompanied by other choral works by Brahms and Schumann. Relax, listen and enjoy exquisite music.
